Disney Fantasy Review Part One

Last weekend I was lucky enough to go on a Magical Preview Cruise of the Disney Fantasy®.  Over the next few days I will be showing picture and talking about what we found.  Having been on the Disney Fantasy briefly for the Christening and cruising a number of times on the Disney Dream®, I felt very acquainted with the layout of the ship so most of the exploring that I did was to see the changes to the Disney Fantasy.

One of the first places I checked out was the Vibe.  I also asked while I was here to find out about the new policy with 18 year olds in high school.  It is true that no one over the age of 18 will be allowed to participate at the Vibe.  There is a club for 18 – 21 year olds.  With this group, they will meet early in the cruise and plan group events for the rest of the cruise.  This will give them all a chance to pick activities that fit the participants.

I also asked about children moving between the different groups like the Edge and the Vibe.  I was told that 13 year olds can move up to the Vibe with authorization by their parents, but 14 year old and older cannot move down to the Edge.  The counselors will work with any kids who may be developmentally disabled, but they would be in their appropriate age group.

Next is a series of shots looking down the entrance to the Vibe.  Quite colorful!
