We heard of ticket pricing increases coming for Disney World last night and sure enough, they did. Ticket prices for one day at Magic Kingdom has gone up to $99 plus tax. Ticket prices across the board increased with one exception (though it remains to be seen if this is an error or intentional).
According to ticket pricing on Disney Travel Agents site, pricing for Magic Your Way base tickets, including taxes are (10+/3-9):
- 2 day – $200.22/$186.38
- 3 day – $291.81/$271.58
- 4 day – $313.11/$291.81
- 5 day – $323.76/$302.46
- 6 day – $334.41/$313.11
- 7 day – $345.06/$323.76
- 8 day – $355.71/$334.41
- 9 day – $366.36/$345.06
- 10 day – $377.01/$355.71
Park hopper and Water Park Fun and More options increased to $63.90 each or $91.59 for both options. The only exception to this is for 2 and 3 day tickets which are pricing at $52.19 for the park hopper option only. If you add both options, it is still pricing at $91.59. This very well could be an error on the site.
No expiration options are still available as well, but have gone up too. Pricing includes taxes:
- 2 day – $42.60
- 3 day – $53.25
- 4 day – $106.50
- 5 day – $170.40
- 6 day – $223.65
- 7 day – $266.25
- 8 day – $287.55
- 9 day – $314.18
- 10 day – $362.10
The silver lining in this however, is that package pricing did not seem to increase, just separately purchased tickets.
Every year we see an increase in the ticket pricing at all the major theme parks. When is it too much?
